This data visualisation shows the spread of H1N1, or Swine Flu, around the world over the last couple of months. The data is taken directly from the World Health Organisation and has been displayed at a country level.

Being based in Melbourne Australia, which is the centre of the H1N1 outbreak in Australia, we were interested in exploring how the tabulated WHO data could be better visualised and what benefits an interactive visualisation could provide beyond a static global map.
