Our team
With backgrounds in data mining, predictive analytics and design, the team at Flink Labs is uniquely positioned to help you explore the possibilities in your data.
Prior to starting Flink Labs, Ben founded AgentArts, a recommendation and personalisation company that he ultimately sold to Microsoft. Ben holds two patents in data mining and predictive analytics. Suzette founded and runs Playground Finder, Australia's leading directory of children's playgrounds, and works closely with local governments, non-profits and community organisations focusing on sustainable technologies.

We recognise that working in the right environment helps us produce our best results. Small but important details, such as trips to the NGV, meetings over lunch at Snow Pony, quality notebooks, grinding our beans fresh for the Gaggia, and stopping to enjoy our coffees together in the morning sunshine all contribute to ensuring we perform at our peak.
We don't plug away when we're feeling lethargic; we take a break to re-energise, and work more productively for it. While we occasionally pull out the Wii for some yoga or golf, we prefer some tai chi, a ride or a work-out to refocus.
